Community Service Hours

Community Service hours are offered to our cheer team for this Wednesday and Friday anytime between 4-9PM @Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park.  They are in need of volunteers to help them paint and set up for their annual haunted house.  Community service hours will be given to all students.  For any other questions contact Floyd at

Choreography!

Dave will choreograph Varsity routine on November 13 and November 18 from 3-6PM.  The total cost will be $2,000 which includes music, choreography, and clean up.  We have used Dave 3 years and we have always place 1st in at least 1 competition out of 5.  He is also the owner of The Spirit Consultants.  Check him out at www.thespiritconsultants.com

Just a reminder that the team has three active fundraisers.

Morgens mom has generously donated magnets to sell about three weeks ago.  Cheerleaders may use that money to pay for T-Shirts! 

Remember that competitions season is coming up and costs are high.  If we all work together and participate in every fundraiser we will not have to pay out of pocket.  Please help the team out!

Breast Cancer Awareness T-Shirt Sale!

Dear Wolves!
For the past 5 years, we have sold T-Shirts for Breast Cancer Awareness in Memory of Shari Brown.  Shari Brown was our cheerleading coach who past away 5 years ago due to breast cancer.  She taught PE and coach cheer at Van Nuys High for 17 years.  Through her coaching career the team has won National and State Championships.  In her honor, we will wear our shirts for every pep-rally! T-Shirts are also available for anyone outside of cheer! Any profit will go to our cheer trust account to help pay for choreography and competition.

Reminder! Do not forget that the 10 week report card is coming up.  Academics is our priority, therefore, if you do not have a 2.5 GPA you will not be allowed to perform at any event until the next report card.  Also, if you do not have a 2.0 GPA or higher, you will not be able to participate in cheer or any sport.
